Who we are
TrustVault Electrical is operated by Polarity Electrics London Ltd (Company No. 14815445), registered in England and Wales. We are the controller for personal information collected through this website and while providing our electrical services. Privacy enquiries may be sent to info@polarityelectrics.com.
Personal information we collect
We collect identity and contact details, property and access details, service requirements, correspondence, quote and payment records, inspection results, certificates and remedial-work records. We also receive security logs and, only where you consent, website analytics data. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive personal information in enquiry forms.
Purposes and lawful bases
We use personal information to answer enquiries and take steps requested before entering a contract; perform contracts for inspections and electrical work; meet legal, tax, safety and professional obligations; and pursue legitimate interests such as managing records, preventing fraud, improving services and reminding customers about relevant certificate renewals. We ask for consent before loading optional analytics. We do not sell personal information.
Who receives information
Information is shared only where necessary with authorised staff, attending contractors, certification or accreditation bodies, insurers, professional advisers, payment and communications providers, Netlify form hosting, our enquiry-routing provider, and public authorities where the law requires it. Suppliers acting for us must protect the information and use it only for the agreed service.
International transfers
Some technology suppliers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we use an adequacy decision or approved contractual safeguards and carry out any required transfer assessment.
Retention and security
Enquiries that do not proceed are normally retained for up to 24 months. Contract, invoice and tax records are normally retained for 6 years after the relationship ends. Inspection reports, certificates and related safety records are retained for the applicable legal, contractual, insurance and professional period. Records may be kept longer where a dispute, claim or legal hold applies. We use proportionate technical and organisational safeguards and restrict access to people who need it.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Contact info@polarityelectrics.com. We normally respond within one month, subject to lawful extensions and identity checks.
Complaints
Please send a data-protection complaint to info@polarityelectrics.com. We will acknowledge it within 30 days and respond without undue delay, normally within one month once we have the information needed to investigate. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
