Necessary preference storage
We use local browser storage named trustvault-cookie-consent to remember whether you accepted or rejected analytics. It stores only the choice and is necessary to respect your preference. It remains until you clear site data or make a new choice.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is optional and does not load until you select “Accept analytics”. If accepted, Google may set _ga and a property-specific _ga cookie to distinguish visits and measure website use. These analytics cookies may last for up to 2 years, although their lifetime can be refreshed by later visits. We configure IP anonymisation and use reports to understand aggregate site performance.
Your choice
You can accept or reject analytics from the banner. The choices are presented with equal prominence. Select Cookie Settings in the footer at any time to change your preference. Rejecting analytics does not affect access to the website or quote form.
Legal basis
Necessary preference storage is used to provide the choice mechanism and record the preference you requested. Optional analytics is used only with consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations and UK data-protection law. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
Browser controls and contact
Most browsers also let you delete or block cookies and site storage. Blocking all storage may prevent the site from remembering your choice. Questions may be sent to info@polarityelectrics.com.
